Lakeview Golf Resort Morgantown, Morgantown

I was really excited about staying at this resort, especially given its beautiful surroundings and potential for a great golf experience. However, I found the facilities in much need of repair, and while the golf courses offered stunning views and good challenges, the overall maintenance left a lot to be desired. The staff was friendly, and we had some fun at the bar, but the outdated condition of the rooms and pool definitely dampened my enthusiasm. If you can overlook the rough edges, there are still some enjoyable moments to be had here.

The resort is set in a stunning area that offers beautiful natural scenery. My condo was clean, and I appreciated some amenities, like the well-maintained golf course. However, I noticed significant maintenance issues throughout the property that detracted from the overall experience. The location is great for family visits and outdoor activities, but the upkeep leaves much to be desired.

My experience at the hotel was incredibly disappointing due to some serious problems with the service. The location offered beautiful views, but the state of the rooms was not acceptable. Housekeeping left much to be desired, and overall, I couldn't see myself returning after this stay. On a positive note, the staff's friendliness was a highlight, which is why I'm giving a slightly better rating overall.

My stay at the Lakeview Golf Resort and Spa was overall quite enjoyable. The beautiful West Virginia scenery really added to the experience, and I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious but feel a bit dated, and while the amenities were decent, there’s room for improvement in dining options. While it might not be the luxurious stay some expect, it offered good value for the price paid.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort, particularly as the location is beautiful and the golf course is exceptionally well-maintained. The condos offered a decent living space, but they could definitely use some updating, especially in terms of mattresses and maintenance. The lack of accessible pools was a real letdown for our kids, which impacted our overall experience.
